Eight of our year 4 children took part in an athletics competition with Upland and Upton primary school. Overall our school came in third place but showed real promise during the running activities. Overall our team showed character and resilience throughout.  Well done!

Our extremely talented year 3 and 4 girls took part in their first every Wildcats festival. They took part in numerous different skilled games and challenges through out there afternoon. What a fantastic afternoon it was to represent our school with 12 other schools attending.  Our girls made some new friends and learnt some new skills along the way.  Well done girls!

Some of our Year 6 pupils went on their residential trip to the Isle of Wight this month.  Going on the residential is a great way to celebrate the end of Year 6/primary school. Residential experiences provide many benefits to pupils and help support the development of a range of skills including confidence building, self-esteem, independence and team building to name only a few.

They had a super time and here is just a snapshot of what they got up to!

Our allotment is looking fabulous and we wanted to be able to share some photographs with you.  We are growing rhubarb, onions, carrotts, strawberries, tomatoes, turnips and potatoes amongst other things!  The children love the opportunity to go down there especially on sunny days like we have been having!  Mrs Smith and Mrs Richardson have been working very hard to create this wonderful space for our children to enjoy and learn new things.
